If you’re in Jacksonville, you probably know about the annual Gate River Run, which takes place on the winding streets of the city. For 44 years, the race has attracted recreational and competitive runners alike, many from across the country.
This year, the race will still take place on Saturday, March 20, but the 15K runner field was capped at 8,000, rather than the usual 15,000. While that limit was reached in January, registration for the 5K is still open. Interested participants can also register for the 15K or 5K virtual options.
