The Florida Retail Federation (FRF) expects a bright holiday shopping season for retailers. In its recent annual holiday shopping forecast, FRF announced it expects holiday sales to increase 3-3.5 percent over last year thanks to a healthy economy and a number of positive statewide economic indicators.
Consumers are expected to spend an average $967 on gifts. Total spending nationally is expected to increase to more than $678 billion, with online shopping increasing 10 percent.
Due to the increased competition among retailers, consumers should expect great deals and discounts. In the stores or online, have fun shopping this season!
