Typically, this “Capitol View” section is reserved for sharing thoughts on issues of the day and outlook on local, state and national topics. However, as I return home from a Thanksgiving family reunion where we celebrated my grandmother’s 100th birthday, I’m reminded of a courageous generation. Imagine the advances, hardships and joys of 100 years of living.
Asked her secret to longevity? “Just live long enough.” That’s my grandmother.
How would you live your life if you knew you had 100 years? No matter how long we’re on this earth, let us be forever curious, thankful, forgiving and constant.
