The Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR) launched a new website to help people set up a business in Florida. Open My Florida Business takes business-owner hopefuls through a step-by-step process, helping them understand what they need to do to start their business and making them aware of any local, state and federal regulations.

“This new Business Information Portal will give prospective entrepreneurs an easy checklist for crafting their business, meeting licensing requirements and then opening the doors to their new venture,” said DBPR Secretary Jonathan Zachem.
