You may have noticed several weather sensors popping up around Tallahassee, whirling away feverishly. Well, it’s all in the name of science – and if you are one to follow local lightning strikes, weather patterns and temperatures, there’s now an app for that!
Tallahassee’s own Edward Mansouri, founder and CEO of WeatherSTEM, was featured on The Weather Channel’s Wx Geeks regarding the success of the project.
Each WeatherSTEM Unit has its very own Facebook and Twitter pages containing dynamically generated weather posts such as daily forecasts, sky videos and alerts. Find Leon County here and use the app for weather alerts.
