Okeeheepkee Prairie Preserve is full of outdoor activities for exploring and enjoying nature including Parwez Alam Park. The park was added in recent years to honor Parwez Alam for over two decades of public service to Leon County and in recognition of his youngest daughter Zahra.
Full of bold colors and patterns that attract kids, it encourages them to engage with the activities. It also incorporates natural materials like rocks and hills to create an ADA-compliant play space.
Children (and adults!) are encouraged to interact with the materials in creative ways, offering a sensory experience that fosters activity and imagination.
