With completion of a $600,000 renovation during the pandemic pause, with a new screen and new seating installed, the Challenger Learning Center’s popular IMAX 3D theater reopened last week.

Swinging into the downtown Tallahassee venue with the largest screen in town at 51′ x 72′ is “Spiderman: No Way Home” with showtimes in the late afternoon and early evening. “Asteroid Hunters” and “Turtle Odyssey” are showing in the early afternoon.

The funding came from the Community Redevelopment Agency, City of Tallahassee and the Downtown Improvement Authority. The Challenger Learning Center of Tallahassee is a 32,000-square-foot facility at Kleman Plaza.
