Facebook released new data that displays how various sectors used the social media platform throughout the pandemic.
“This data suggests that businesses in the greater Tampa Bay area continue to recover, however, economic recovery from COVID-19 is not evenly distributed to all industries,” said Facebook policy manager Laura McGorman.
Facebook hopes businesses and policymakers use this data to see how their local economy fared during COVID-19 and inform decisions moving forward.
“At Facebook, we are committed to helping businesses adjust to new ways of doing business and hope that insights like these can help assist in their recovery,” said McGorman.
