My profession includes helping candidates and spokespeople look their best for the camera, resulting in votes and victories. Stay-at-home orders have many of us using videoconferencing products, so I wrote a column in Florida Politics to help everyone improve their on-camera game.

Elevate your camera so the lens is at or above eye level. If it’s any lower, your computer will make your picture less flattering. The primary light source should be in front of your face and behind the computer camera.

Do you sound like you’re in a tin can?  A small $50 lavaliere microphone will improve your voice.
