Internships are a welcomed challenge

For me, an internship is not just a desk job that would bring a shiny addition to my resume. It’s a necessary stepping stone to my career.

Searching for the icing on the cake of my Florida State University experience, an internship at a communications firm jumped out to me as the perfect opportunity to prepare for that daunting next step: graduation.

This internship has put me in a fast-paced environment where I can perfect my writing and communications skills, challenging me to look with a keen eye at every detail of the news in today’s world of cluttered information.
