SolarTech tour and Florida solar energy update

by

According to a recent U.S. Solar Market Insight report, Florida has enough installed solar capacity to power almost 97,500 homes. Additionally, in 2016, solar employed 8,260 Floridians, which is promising growth for Florida and is the solar boost we need to continue diversifying our energy grid.

Local media toured SolarTech Universal this month in West Palm Beach. They were able to get a first-hand look at the only solar panel manufacturing facility in the southeast United States.

SolarTech made 2018 expansion announcements to include 100 new STEM jobs and a fully operational facility in Puerto Rico.
