Palm Beach Post Closes Capital Bureau

by

The Tallahassee 100 is sad to share that the Palm Beach Post has closed its capital bureau as part of a move to focus on more local coverage and digital content.

With the emergence and growth of social media, as well as 24-hour cable television news coverage, newspapers have had to adapt and change with the times. Unfortunately, this has translated to a dwindling Capitol Press Corps here in Tallahassee and fewer reporters in newsrooms across the state.

We wish veteran and highly respected Post reporter John Kennedy all the best as he moves on to his next endeavor.
