Game-changing. Innovative. Yuuuge (sorry). These are buzzwords pundits use when discussing digital media in the 2016 election.
I, for one, will be content when we stop referring to “digital media” (or “new media”) and start calling it exactly what it is: media. Websites, social networks, email, online radio and mobile advertising are critical touch points for modern campaigns, not just concepts to explore.
As of Nov. 3, there were 13.9 million Facebook users in Florida. And if you don’t believe that the internet is THE hub of modern political discussion, go ahead and check your newsfeed. I’ll wait.
