Since 1976, a billion people have voted for the president of the US, with less than 4 million separating Republicans and Democrats. In the last four elections in Florida, only 70,000 votes out of the 31 million cast have separated the two parties.
The global economy is changing, and it’s making our politics a mess. Until we get used to the new way of making a living, deeply divided politics and wave elections will be the rule, not the exception.
So buckle up. We aren’t seeing a once-in-a-lifetime campaign. Sadly, this is likely the new norm.
