President to President: Words of Advice

Joe has been a leader in the legislative process for a long time, and I’m confident that he has the experience and vision necessary to successfully lead the Senate.

My advice is to maintain the heart of a servant leader, remembering that each senator earned the privilege to serve his or her constituents in Tallahassee. Empower the senators. Put the right senators in the right places, trust them to get the job done and then back them up. It is a thrilling ride.

Camille and I are excited for Joe and Rebecca, and they will certainly be in our prayers.
