The Florida State Seminoles softball team won the national title after a historic postseason run. Coming from behind in nearly every series during the ACC Tournament and College World Series, the “cardiac kids” always found a way to win.
Each member of the team contributed something very special throughout the year, but nothing compared to Game 1 of the World Series finals. That game gave us “The Catch.” Jesse Warren’s dive from third base to catch a pop-up bunt was the moment that turned these underdogs into championship favorites.
Congrats ‘Noles, and here’s to going back again next year.
