Get prepared: A change of seasons is upon us

Despite the warm temperatures, summer is coming to an end. It’s time to get prepared for the arrival of fall. Here’s what to look out for:

• Students are back, and school buses are on the streets (well, we won’t get into all that).

• Football season returns on high school and college campuses.

• Lawmakers return in mid-September for their first fall committee week. Remember, the Legislative session starts in January 2020.

• The arrival of what’s traditionally the most active part of hurricane season. A reminder to prepare now, not when another storm is knocking on our door.
