Tourism funds a significant portion of our state’s budget and contributes to our local economies. It puts 1.4 million people to work and improves our quality of life.
Thanks to no state income tax and the tax relief tourism provides, Floridians keep more money in their pockets.
To maintain this $112 million industry, we must continue to promote our travel offerings. To do that, we need a reauthorized and fully funded VISIT FLORIDA. On behalf of the local tourism-promotion agencies across the state, I encourage the Florida Legislature to invest in Florida’s future by investing in VISIT FLORIDA.
