2018 marks my last term representing the people of Tampa in Tallahassee. But my time in the legislature ending doesn’t mean I will stop advocating for Florida’s working families. I understand their struggles because I’ve lived them.
For that single mom who I met at my annual job fair. For those covering the night shift to put food on the table. Access to public education, affordable health care and reasonably priced housing are critical in helping Floridians achieve economic security for themselves and their families.
I’ll always make it my mission to ensure Florida gives people an opportunity to succeed.
