The ripple effect of the pandemic on our workforce and work habits is under full review. Companies are reassessing the work from home model versus a traditional fully staffed office balance.

With the Florida Capitol largely closed during the past months, there was a marked difference in attire. Without the necessity for men to go to the Capitol, the necktie all but disappeared in Tallahassee.

We are not alone. Relaxed standards and WFH programs have resulted in a 42% national drop in necktie sales, from sales of 3.7 billion nationally in 2018. Analysts are mixed on the possibility of recovery.
