All Saints Cinema, located in Railroad Square, will be holding a screening of the classic movie “Norma Rae” on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 4PM.
The 1979 film, which stars Sally Field, is about a young, single mother and textile worker who decides to help unionize the mill she works at regardless of the danger and issues that could arise.
“Norma Rae” won Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Sally Field’s performance and Best Original Song by David Shire and Norman Gimbel for “It Goes Like It Goes.”
