It’s cold and daylight is short – time to cuddle up on the couch with an outstanding new BBC drama.
“Bodyguard” features a heroic British army officer suffering from PTSD who embarks on a career in law enforcement and is assigned to the protective detail of an ardently pro-war home secretary. Their politics are at odds, but passions run as high as Britain’s threat level throughout the first season, and there are as many bombings and sniper attacks as intimate scenes between Sergeant David Budd and Home Secretary Julia Montague.
The first season of Bodyguard is now available on Netflix.
