The 2017 Florida State Football Season will begin in just a few more weeks, and Langford Green, the large open lawn that welcomes students and visitors to Doak Campbell Stadium, will have a fresh look.
The University made the decision to make the upgrades to withstand the growing popularity and increased use of the area over the years.
The upgrades will include new sidewalks, walkways, additional trees and updated landscaping. Wi-Fi is also being added to the coverage area. Another main goal of the renovation is to better recognize the green’s namesake and former Seminole Booster icon, George Langford.
