There are many different studies that talk about how New Year’s resolutions fail after the first month. So, here are three unscientific, but generally good tips to keep your 2017 resolutions.
1. Tell people, and not just on Facebook. Tell that friend who will be brutally honest no matter what and hold you accountable.
2. Keep track. Write it down in a notebook or in an app, but put it somewhere where you will face it daily.
3. Focus on the long-term. If you mess up one day, don’t have a meltdown. It’s that whole winning the war versus the battle thing.
