It’s clear that Gritz N Greenz Owner and Chef Lance McGinnis has a passion for family and food. He says the decision to open the Tallahassee restaurant was made by him, his wife and their children earlier this year.
“My goal in starting a restaurant was to introduce Southern food to the next generation in a unique way,” said McGinnis.
In its third month of serving delicious Southern dishes, Gritz N Greenz – located at 460 West Tennessee Street – has been gaining popularity mainly through word of mouth. Menu favorites include shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles and crispy pork belly.
