Today, Feb. 6, is the 15th annual Florida Kidney Day at our state capitol and is a reminder to be kind to your kidneys.
This day is organized by the Florida Renal Coalition and is intended to educate lawmakers and the public on proper kidney care and the significance of dialysis treatment for patients with chronic kidney disease.
The coalition is offering free kidney screenings to the public in the state capitol and educational materials on proper diet to help care for your kidneys. We want to thank the National Kidney Foundation and Florida Renal Association for supporting this event.
