On Saturday, Oct. 6., there’s a great opportunity for Big Bend residents to help the American Red Cross prepare for and respond to disasters in the area.
The 11th Annual Robin Lotane Red Cross Hurricane 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk will include an opportunity to volunteer by building comfort kits for disaster clients. The event kicks off at 8AM, with the 5K race and obstacle challenge starting at 8:30AM.
