Support vision-impaired neighbors by ‘Dining in the Dark’

by

Lighthouse of the Big Bend serves people with vision loss throughout the 11-county Tallahassee region. The organization’s annual event, “Dining in the Dark,” raises money and awareness by showing participants what it’s like to eat a meal without sight.

Guests will enjoy a three-course meal on Sunday, Oct. 14, at the University Center Club – in complete darkness. Tickets start at $75. Members of the Leon County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team will serve the meal in night vision goggles.

The menu is secret, so get ready to surprise your taste buds.
