Garnet and gold, orange and blue, green and orange … the time has come. It is football season again. College Colors Day is the perfect kickoff to the school year and the start of college sports.

Students, parents, fans and alumni around the country show their team spirit on this day by gearing up in their school colors and apparel. The national day is traditionally celebrated the Friday before Labor Day, this year “touch-downing” on Aug. 31.

Spread your team pride by wearing your favorite university colors, snapping a picture and sharing it on social media using the #CollegeColorsDay hashtag.
