A ‘Slow Summer?’ Think Again.

As many know, we’ve had two special election primaries: Senate District 40 and House District 116. Miami-Dade will vote on Sept. 26 to decide the next Senator from District 40, choosing between Republican Rep. Jose Felix Diaz and Democrat Annette Taddeo, and House member from District 116, between Republican Daniel Perez and Democrat Gabriela Mayaudón.

There’s more.

Rep. Dan Raulerson (R-Plant City) resigned in July, and the primary and general elections are set for Oct. 10 and Dec. 19, respectively.

As we’ve noted, isn’t summer supposed to be “slow?” Not in Florida. No rest for the weary.
