‘Hamilton’ comes to Disney+ July 3

Winner of eleven Tony Awards, the long-awaited filmed version of Lin-Manuel Miranda’s play “Hamilton” debuts Friday, July 3rd on Disney+.

With subscription packages starting at $6.99 per month for the entire Disney+ streaming service, Miranda says this film will give the audience the best seat in the house. Filmed with the original cast over three live performances in June 2016, the production crew was able to position cameras in the audience and be on stage with steady cams, cranes and dollies for views even the front row never enjoyed.

“Hamilton” will be that rare affordable national event that is remembered.
