George Clinton Brings the Funk to Tallahassee

by

Some celebrities have deep roots in Tallahassee, but George Clinton, who presides over musical empires like Parliament-Funkadelic, is a legend who lives in Tallahassee and calls it home.

The eccentric and trailblazing Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee also has his P-Funk Mothership on permanent display at the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History & Culture. Clinton, who is an influence on everyone from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Beyonce, just announced his “Shake the Gate” tour.

When he is not traveling the world, fans can spot Clinton and his family enjoying the many wonders of Tallahassee.
