Summer Literacy Adventure keeps students reading

The Florida Department of Education teamed up with Florida first lady Ann Scott for the 2018 Summer Literacy Adventure, in partnership with the Florida Lottery and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.

K-12 students are challenged to join the first lady in reading as many books as possible this summer. Students can pledge to read a specific number of books during summer break, and the school whose students read the most books will receive a surprise visit from the first lady.

In need of book suggestions for yourself or your child? Here are some great ideas for all ages.
