Florida’s Cabinet consists of the governor and three constitutionally elected state executives overseeing several boards and commissions, including clemency hearings.
As of Jan. 8, Florida’s new Cabinet members will be Gov. Ron DeSantis, Attorney General Ashley Moody, Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis and Agriculture Commissioner Nikki Fried. This is the first time in history that Florida will have two women serving on the Cabinet.
While each member has an equal vote, in the case of a tie on the four-member board, the governor casts the deciding vote. Check here for updated information, bios and meeting schedule.
