Finnegan’s Wake, the popular Tallahassee Midtown Irish bar, closed as a result of the pandemic. Fans, and there were many, mourned the closure last May.
Last week, a social media post showed a key going in the lock at the popular pub with the text “Don’t you wish we could turn back time? … 3,000 likes and we will open up!”
Finnegan’s owner Derek Hart told the Tallahassee Democrat he had been inundated with “patrons all but ready to bang down the door for entry.” While specifics have not yet been announced, Finnegan’s Wake should be opening later this month.
