Tallahassee-area brewery fans are excited for the arrival of Oyster City Brewing Company. The Apalachicola craft brewers opened in 2014, and have quickly gained attention and fame for their pales, lagers and IPAs brewed and sold throughout North Florida.
Oyster City will open this fall at the 603 Gaines Street location of the old GrassLands Brewing Company, which closed in 2018.
The OCBC product line has won many awards in industry competition — most recently a gold medal at the 2020 US Open Beer Championship for the Mill Pond Dirty blonde ale, which they say pairs well with oysters, sunny beaches and salt water.
