Observing Martin Luther King Day in Tallahassee

Each January, we reflect as a nation on the legacy of equality, justice, nonviolence and racial reconciliation left by Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. Here are events taking place in Tallahassee to honor his memory and continue his work toward civil rights and social justice.

Florida A&M University will hold a Day of Service and Convocation at Gaither Gym on January 12 at 10:10AM.

Florida State University will hold their 30^th Annual MLK Week January 14-18. Check event listings online.

There are also many local volunteer opportunities available to support the national MLK Day of Service.
