The John Gilmore Riley Center/Museum for African American History & Culture will be holding its 18th annual Culture to Culture Holiday Rock-a-Thon fundraising event on Saturday, December 2, from 9AM- 3PM. Located at Cascades Park, the event is family-friendly, free and features the area’s arts and cultural organizations.
Proceeds from the participating churches, civic, religious and social organizations go to support the museum’s programming.
The Riley Center/Museum was established in 1996 to provide an environment to encourage visitors to develop an awareness and appreciation for the educational and social contributions of African Americans to Florida’s history.
