Fire Festival Celebrates Healthy Forests

by

Calling all fire fanatics and eco-enthusiasts! On Jan. 22, Tall Timbers lights up with the Red Hills Fire Festival, a free outdoor event for all ages celebrating the importance of controlled fires in a healthy forest.

From exciting fire demonstrations and wagon ride forest tours, to equipment exhibits and interactive kids’ activities, festival-goers will learn more about how prescribed fire keeps wildlife alive and ecosystems healthy. Food trucks and live music from Clever Girl complete the fascinating afternoon.

Head over to 13093 Henry Beadel Drive on Jan. 22 from 11AM to 3PM, and click here for more information.
