Capital City Rowing Prepares for Fall Regattas

by

Fall training is underway for the athletes of Capital City Rowing (CCR), as the Tallahassee crew team prepares for several upcoming regattas. With more than 80 rowers, CCR is the city’s largest youth rowing organization.

“Our first race of the fall season is the First Coast Head Race in Jacksonville on Saturday, Oct. 15,” said CCR Head Coach Brett Tillotson. “After that, we’ll be focused on two prestigious regattas – the Head of the Charles in Boston and the Head of the Hooch in Chattanooga.”

Last fall, the CCR men’s youth 4+ boat took first place at Head of the Hooch.
