Digital tools and technology are helping Florida’s small businesses bounce back and grow after the pandemic, according to new research from the Connected Commerce Council.
In a nationwide survey of 2,000 small businesses, those that made big investments in digital tools before and during the pandemic earned nearly twice as much revenue and hired twice as many workers compared to more digitally skeptical businesses.
Research also found 84 percent of Florida small businesses increased their use of digital tools during the COVID-19 crisis, with 89 percent of Florida small businesses planning to continue using digital tools in their business strategies.
