Florida-based Chewy Takes a Bite out of Pet Industry

Headquartered in Dania Beach, Chewy has changed the pet supply industry over the past six years. The company, co-founded by Ryan Cohen and Michael “Blake” Day, makes purchasing pet food, supplies and treats easier.

What sets them apart? Fast delivery, dedicated customer service and a commitment to enhancing users’ experiences.

Their hard work has paid off. Chewy opened a new distribution center in Ocala, creating 600 new jobs. The company employs more than 3,700 pet lovers in Florida and national fulfillment centers. In April 2017, PetSmart acquired Chewy, and we couldn’t be more excited for this Florida company.
