As we continue to celebrate Black History Month, we recognize Eluster Richardson, the 2017 Florida Black History Month Featured Artist.
Born and raised in Tallahassee, Richardson began painting as a child. His works have won numerous awards and have been exhibited throughout Florida and the nation. A love of history and special interest in the people and places of North Florida are reflected in his work.
Richardson currently is the Artist-in-Residence for the Riley House Museum and Resource Center of African-American History and Culture, which houses his collection of historical works. He maintains a studio in Tallahassee.
