Did you know July 29 is National Chicken Wing Day? Buffalo wings were created by Teressa Bellissimo in 1964 at the Anchor Bar in Buffalo, New York, as a late-night snack for her son and his college buddies.

Wings have become more popular ever since. An estimated 27 billion wings are consumed each year; 1.25 billion during the Super Bowl alone.
