After a six-year hiatus, the Leon County Humane Society (LCHS) has brought back its popular Fur Ball – the furriest costume ball in town. The returning fundraiser for LCHS helps the animal welfare organization carry out its mission to save homeless pets. This year’s Fur Ball will occur on Sept. 29, 6:30PM at the beautiful Lake Iamonia Lodge.
Attendees can enjoy dancing, tasty treats and beverages, games, a costume contest and a silent auction with an “Alice in Wonderland” (I mean “Whiskerland”) theme. Costumes are encouraged but not required.
Tickets are $60 and VIP tickets are available for $90.
